We are delighted to invite you to attend XVIIth EUCARPIA Symposium on Fruit breeding and Genetics which will take place in campus Alnarp of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden. The main topics of the Symposium are:

- Pedigree- and genomics-informed breeding
- Pre-breeding and new approaches in fruit breeding
- Fruit quality traits
- Participatory and organic breeding

- Whole genome sequencing
- Plant transformation and new breeding technologies
- AI-based approaches in fruit breeding
You will also get the opportunity to visit research facilities and germplasm collections at campus Alnarp.
In addition, we will organise a post-symposium tour to Österlen, the main fruit-growing district and a beautiful Baltic sea coast area.
